Clean a recording

Open audio or supported video, choose a short section, and compare Original and Cleaned. Export processes the whole recording. Cleanup starts at 100%; lowering it blends original noise back in.

Compatibility

Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 14 or later. Intel Macs are not supported. Export audio as WAV/M4A; supported SDR H.264/HEVC MP4/MOV video keeps the original picture. This cleans speech audio, not video grain. Quiet background speakers and music may be reduced.

Trial and purchases

Preview first, then explicitly activate the free seven-day export trial. It never charges or renews automatically. Full Edition is a one-time unlock. Use Purchase → Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to buy. Apple connectivity is required for commerce; speech processing runs locally.

Long jobs and troubleshooting

Use Show Progress for stages and cancellation. Keep your Mac awake; closing the lid can pause work. Download iCloud files locally and check free storage. Completed exports are preserved; the queue is not restored after quitting.
